Only authentic Sentol bottle openers have ORIGINAL SENTOL / MADE IN JAPAN stamped underneath. The patent has expired which is why you find many Sentol imitations on the market that are made in China. Our white Bottlepal is the original Sentol. Many of the imitations are low quality so be careful. We attended trade shows in Asia and tested many imitations and finally found a couple that meet our high quality standards: our stainless and red Bottlepal openers. These are both high quality Sentol imitations! During testing, we found that most imitations are not durable and do not last long.
